Gallagher RISE Programme (UK)

Are you a recent graduate or school leaver eager to take your first step towards building your career? The Gallagher Rise programme could be just what you’re looking for! Over the 12-month programme you will be involved in a combination of structured training, guidance, and hands-on experience. Unlike other entry-level programmes, Rise places a strong emphasis on developing you personally, alongside providing you with the professional skills and technical knowledge needed to thrive in your role. Upon successfully completing the programme, you’ll secure a full-time permanent role, providing a strong foundation for your future at Gallagher. Gallagher Reinsurance Achievement Programme (REACH UK)

Our Gallagher Reinsurance Achievement Programme (REACH) provides an 18-month, tailored development journey, with the aim of accelerating your career from Day 1. This programme is unique in the industry, where you will be mentored, work closely with senior stakeholders and work towards achieving an industry recognised professional qualification (Chartered Insurance Institute and/or Actuarial, depending on your career path).

During the programme you will have the opportunity to work closely with your mentor and subject matter experts, making a difference early in your career. Your development will include a multitude of technical insurance and reinsurance models as well as a wider curriculum of professional, financial and client-facing skills training.

The programme will give you everything you need to know about the industry as part of one of the largest global reinsurance broking and advisory firms, plus the opportunity to network with colleagues and clients around the world.

Our Gallagher REACH programme offers a salary of £20,000 – £25,000 for school leavers and £30,000 – £33,000 for grads. You’ll also receive 25 days of annual leave, plus UK bank holidays, and be able to purchase extra days on top.

Alongside this, you’ll also be entitled to three fully paid volunteering days a year, allowing you to support a charity of your choice. We also offer a range of flexible benefits available to you including gym memberships, season ticket loans, travel insurance and many more.

Gallagher Reinsurance Achievement Program (REACH US)

It is a structured learning and development program for analytical roles like Actuarial Analyst, Catastrophe Modeler, and Broking Analyst. This two-year paid program is designed to accelerate learning and professional growth providing the foundation for a successful career in reinsurance.

In these client-facing roles, you will have meaningful work and access to Senior Leaders, mentors, and peers around the globe. This program was designed with best-in-class experiences in mind to compete with top training programs across the financial services industry.

Gallagher Reinsurance Achievement Program (REACH US)

There are four analytical roles within the REACH (US) program; Actuarial Analyst, Catastrophe Modeler, Broking/Financial Analyst, and Risk Analyst. Each of these roles require cross-functional collaboration with production teams across the globe. You will gather and analyze data, and support client proposal development and presentations. You will receive funding and support for your continued learning and for obtaining industry designations like the Associate in Reinsurance (Are), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), etc.

GIFTT Program (Canada)

The Gallagher Insurance Fast Track Training Program is designed to accelerate the learning curve for people that are new to the insurance industry.

Not only does the program provide the tools necessary to quickly learn and master the skills required to move forward in a career in the insurance industry, but it also focuses on development in a supportive and engaging environment.

This nine-month program will allow you to not only work as a Client Solutions Associate, but also set you on a career path towards more senior client service roles.

This nine-month program will allow you to not only work as a Client Solutions Associate, but also set you on a career path towards more senior client service roles. The Gallagher Insurance Fast Track Training Program is designed to accelerate the learning curve for people that are new to the insurance industry.

We are a great program for recent college or university grads as well as established professionals looking for a career change. No matter your location, GIFTT allows for a flexible, remote working environment with access to any of our offices.

  • Obtain your broker’s license
  • Get started towards your Chartered Insurance Professional Designation

Achieve is our Client Service Trainee Program. It is a structured program featuring classroom, virtual and on-the-job training, designed to provide participants with the knowledge needed to be successful as a service professional at Gallagher.

With our Programme Opportunites, you’ll have the chance to get hands on, interacting with clients and making a difference early on. Gallagher Futures (UK)

We have a variety of roles across our business that you may be interested in: Broking – Retail and London Specialty, Underwriting, Operations (UK & EMEA), IT, Project management, Carrier management, and Risk.

Our Gallagher Futures programme offers a salary of between £29,000 and £33,000p.a. dependent on location and experience. Guidance Pathway

Ideal for:

Supports straightforward claims and workflows. A great starting point for those new to insurance but eager to grow.

Guardian Pathway

Ideal for:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4-year degree from an accredited institution preferred. Candidates possessing a Bachelor’s degree will receive preferential treatment. Others with proven experience will be considered

Role: Guardian Associate

Handles complex claims like workers' comp and liability. Trained to deliver results with empathy and professionalism.
